It just goes to show you can enjoy a sunset cruise even on an evening when the sunset is less than spectacular.
Vacationing from Eden Prairie MN, Aimee and Chris Peterson wanted to get their young boys, Conner and Owen, out on the water. Grandparents Linda and Bob Peterson joined the group. The sunset was less important than a calm boat ride with some scenery to enjoy.
We left the 7 Mile Marina and cruised up the gulfside of Marathon to Crane Point and back. It was an overcast evening but the scenery made up for the lack of spectacle in the sky. Just as we reached the channel leading into the marina, the sky turned a brilliant pink orange at the horizon and we got just a peak of the famous Florida Keys sunset!
As we all know, what’s really important is quality family time spent together, and the Peterson clan certainly celebrated that during their cruise!
